"The 2022 Chasselas Vieilles Vignes is from vines planted on gravel, sand and rocky soils in Colmar, planted in 1939 and between 1942 and 1954. These are co-plantations of both white and pink Chasselas. The nose is subtle, showing a touch of cold stearin, yeast and waxed citrus peel. The palate is light but textured. Pale Reine Claude flesh adds gentle fruit, but the texture and the yeast shine on the light but fluid body, finishing with just a little pithy bitterness. It is very pure and slender with a mild but bone-dry finish."
